I don't share my projects much at linky parties anymore...even though it was my number one way to share posts when I first started this blog, so it was fun when a friend congratulated me on my blog feature at Knick of Time's vintage inspiration party. I couldn't believe it and had to come home to check it out. So thank you Angie! how fun to be featured on a blog that I started following way back when we both began.
I liked the chipped patina, but it was so loose it was coming off.
After adding the screening, I decided to refinish the frame as well. So I got out some of my favorite Country Chic paint colors and started layering them on, never cleaning my brush in between.
I love the old hardware on this window and immediately thought of using it as a hook. I don't think I've expressed this much here, but I love hooks. When I visit my favorite flea markets or antique shops, the first question I ask is if they have any hooks. So this was the first thing I noticed about this window.
It was the perfect size to hang a wreath on.
I liked the way the window looked in my entry way, but wasn't sure that it was in the right place.
After I finished my coat rack, I figured out why.
It was just meant to hang above it!
Perfect for entering the summer, ya think?
Have a wonderful day!
